Kingi Rallies Magarini Behind Kombe, Framing ODM Candidate as Key to Unlocking stalled Development
Senate Speaker Amason Kingi has today led campaigns for ODM’s candidate Harrison Kombe in Magarini constituency byelection slated for Thursday next week by wooing voters in the area.
Kingi who was accompanied by leaders drawn from ODM, UDA and PAA in the broad-based government arrangement said that a vote Kombe will give President William Ruto confidence and bring about government development programs in the area.
Speaking at Sondoku grounds in Sabaki ward, Kingi who was accompanied by Senator Stewarts Madzayo, Kilifi Women Representative Getrude Mbeyu, her Mombasa counterpart Zamzam Mohamed, MPs Kenneth Tungule, Owen Baya, Ken Chonga, Ruweida Obbo, Kenya Roads Board (KRB) chairperson Aisha Jumwa and Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) director Michael Kingi said added that many development projects had stalled in the area and that only Kombe would revive them in the remaining one and a half years before 2027 general election.
Leaders who spoke said that a vote for Kombe will solidify the positions Kingi, Cabinet Secretaries Ali Hassan Joho and Salim Muvrya and Principal Secretaries led by Fkirini Jacobs and other senior state jobs accorded to area leaders.
